today in the newspaper, i read an article about a mother and her 14 year old son. the 14 year old son was murdered by a 16 year old kid that is suspected to be part of some stupid kid gang. the 16 year old punched the boy in the face so hard that when the boy tried to pedal away on his bike, he collapse a short distance after and died in the street. i got so mad after reading that article. why would a bunch of kids want to start gangs?! the article said that a couple of students from arundel middle school or something decided to form gangs, one called the east side diamonds and the other, i forgot the name, but the acronym is tnt. since the 14 year old's friends said that they were part of the esd, the kids from tnt told him to "watch his back". the gangs even have their own myspace page! UGH. if i were dictator, i wouldnt give them the death sentence, but i would give them something pretty close! maybe a life long stay in jail... i think im less angry now.
